Holistic Therapy
At Bradley Associates
The concept of holism takes into account the whole person, physically, mentally and emotionally.
A Holistic Therapist will undertake a detailed consultation of the client's history before making a treatment plan devised for the client's individual needs. The client is encouraged to look at themselves and their attitude to life, to look at the strains and pressures they place upon themselves. Therefore it encourages an awareness of self.
Holistic Therapy brings about a sense of relaxation and inner calm. This gives the client a quiet safe time to evaluate and devise strategies on how to control stress levels and to work through problems.
To sum up, the concept of holism is to see the person in the entirety of mind, body and soul, to bring about a state of homeostasis, a harmonious balance.
