Are you wondering if you might enjoy pilates?
Watch this 40 minute video which explains the basic principles, terminology, positions and exercises for our pilates classes so that you will get the most out of each and every exercise if you decide to join our regular Live Streamed Sessions.
Our classes are all led by physios trained by the APPI whose methods are specifically developed to help those with neck, back & other joint problems. It is a fantastic way to manage and prevent the recurrence of joint injuries by increasing postural and core control, improving your flexibility and helping you become more aware of how to use your body efficiently & safely.
We firmly believe that the more you understand the ideas behind pilates the more you will use these principles in everyday life, thereby protecting your bodies from unnecessary physical stress each and every day, whatever you are doing.
You will need:
- A quiet space
- A mat or clear floor area
- A small head cushion or a hand towel folded into 6-8 layers
- A dining/office chair nearby
Once completed you will be ready to join our Live Streamed Classes. These 45 minute classes run on a Monday & Wednesday evening, a Tuesday lunchtime & Thursday 9am at a cost of £5 per person, per class. They are streamed via Zoom and the links for each class are sent out each weekend.
Unfortunately, due to restrictions during the Covid pandemic we are not offering studio based classes at the moment. Follow our Facebook page to be first in the queue when these restart.
