In 2013 Peter graduated from the University of Dundee with a First Class Honours Degree in Anatomical Science before going on to study a BSc in Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University where he graduated with First Class Honours Degree. While at Manchester Metropolitan University, Peter carried out research looking into effective treatments for patella tendinopathy in elite basketball players with Professor Michael Callaghan – head physiotherapist at Manchester United.
Peters first post as a rotational physiotherapist took him to Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS trust where he gained experience in several specialities including; General Medicine, Critical Care, Orthopaedic Surgery, Musculoskeletal Therapy and Neurorehabilitation Therapy. Peter has also worked at professional rugby league club Hunslet RLFC as lead physiotherapist covering match days and training sessions. Peter also currently works for Stockport Grammar School where he provides pitch side cover for many of the school’s sports teams including; netball, rugby, football and hockey.
Peter obtained sports massage and sports taping qualification in 2016, before going on to complete Immediate Medical Management on the field of play course in 2017.
In his spare time Peter enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball and running.
