Following several injuries as a schoolboy whilst playing sport, James has always wanted to become a Physiotherapist to help people recover from their injuries and illnesses.
After completing his A level’s , James studied at the University of Nottingham where he graduated 3 years later with a First Class Degree in Physiotherapy BSc (hons). Here, James focused his research around the treatment and rehabilitation of lower limb injuries. He gained a variety of clinical experience of across 9 different areas of clinical Physiotherapy. James has completed a course in Strength and Neuromuscular Conditioning and since finishing University, he has gained the FA Intermediate Medical Management in Football award.
After graduating, James worked at Oldham Athletic A.F.C as the Lead Academy Physiotherapist. He continues to work part time at Oldham with the U15 and U16 age groups.
In his spare time James enjoys playing football for his local football team and socialising with his family and friends.
