Sian Minshull-Easthope Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist

With over 26 years of experience in physiotherapy, Sian’s journey began at Sheffield Hallam University, where she graduated in 1998 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Her passion for helping people recover and thrive after neurological events has defined her career, with more than 22 years dedicated to neuro-rehabilitation across Greater Manchester.

Throughout her career, Sian has worked across various settings, from inpatient rehabilitation to community-based care, where she found her true calling—helping people regain independence after life-changing neurological conditions. Her work spans support for individuals with complex conditions like Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, and more. She is also skilled in addressing the physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges that often accompany these conditions.

Sian’s expertise extends to spasticity management, splinting, postural alignment, and motor recovery. She has completed advanced neurological training, including the highly regarded Basic and Advanced Bobath Courses and further education to MSc level, ensuring she remains at the forefront of developments in her field.

Beyond her hands-on work, Sian is a trusted leader and educator. She leads a multi-disciplinary community neuro-rehab team and provides expert neurological consultations to other NHS teams, contributing to the wider healthcare system. Her commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by her registration with the HCPC and membership in both CSP and ACPIN.
