Sprains are very much a painful and frustrating injury, often caused by overstretching aย joint further than itโs intended range, and this can cause damage to the ligaments in the form of a tear. Some of the most common forms of sprains include ankle sprains (rolling your foot underneath you), wrist sprains (falling onto an outstretched hand) and various knee ligament sprains, often caused by serious trauma or a sporting injury.
